We wanted to inform you about an upcoming YouthTruth Student Survey, which will be administered to our students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in December. The YouthTruth Student Survey is a nationally recognized survey that is used by hundreds of schools and districts across the country to gather feedback from students about their experiences in school.
This anonymous survey asks students about a variety of topics, including their academic experiences, their relationships with teachers and peers, and their overall school climate. This information is valuable to us as we work to improve our school and provide all students with the best possible learning experience.
If you do not wish for your child to participate, please complete the following form and return it to the school by 12/1/23.

You are all invited to our Fall Festival, on November 3rd, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
We are currently seeking candy donations. Grade levels will be competing. We will have two winning classes, one in upper grade and one in lower grade.

You are cordially invited to the 15th annual Band Spectacular, an all-district marching festival that showcases musicians from twenty-two HUSD Schools. All of our elementary sites will be represented this year with student performers at the event! The combined piece for this year's All District Band will be "Thriller," featuring band students from the elementary programs performing together with the junior and senior high programs to create one unified sound. The evening will also culminate with a finale performance by the world-class RCC Marching Tigers. It should be a night to remember!
